I was running an 18 tooth pinion and thought i might have it overgeared, I'm going to a 16 and 5s and see how it runs. I will play with the settings and see what it will do. I do wish the V2 slipperential comes soon, wheelies are boring to a racer. The lipo's are amazing, i spent over 3/4 of the charge and got the fastest speed at the end of my run, that was with 2 2s 8000mah maxamps lipo's

Hey BrianG, how do you have you 10XL geared on 14 cells
I am seriously thinking of going with the MM with a 1940/8 on my Hyper 8 buggy until the MMM comes out, but want to make sure it will handle it well with no issues. A little cogging is too much IMO. So, I'm hoping that messing with the timing and/or the punch control can eliminate the little there is.

I'm using standard maxx tires with crimefighters, stock revo diffs, 40T/14T spur/pinion, and 2nd gear locked using the wide ratio 2nd gear. ESC is usually barely warm (I can hold my hand on it forever and I'm sensitive to heat) but the motor is usually quite a bit warmer - around 140-150 degrees. That usually means it's geared too short, but the gearing is actually kinda tall.
