24:1 stock gear ratio
5.3" tall stock tires (not a whole lot smaller than Maxx Mashers)

A 380C 6L should put it into the low 20's on 6cells or 2s...which should be more than enough speed for me with this thing.

It's pretty light, about the same as my Jato. But a 24:1 ratio! Wow, that's quite the reduction! I assume this includes diff, tranny, and spur/pinion?

The MM 4600 (or similar kv "s" size motor) will get you to ~21mph. And if you decide you want more speed, you can always go to 3s to get to ~33mph. And, for extreme speed, you could even go with 4s for ~44mph. I know CC says 3s is the max for the 4600, but it also says 12 cells as the max, which is the same as 4s.

By the way, if you post or PM me the tooth counts of the various parts (tranny, diff, etc), I can add them to the speed calc...
