If they are running hte clay compound tires.. and you say the track is hard, you probably want the M3 if you do the CF MTs.

A buddy of mine just went to an indoor 1/8 track and said they ran switch 2.0 and the med soft didn't work at all... but the clay were stuck good.

Same for some 1/10 tracks.... I know of places where Losi Reds are lose as hell but the pinks are awesome.... and same with Panther comnpounds. It's a weird deal....
