ok thanks guys i will dremel fins a bit as messing with a spur is not a good idea as it might end up not centered right. fins are there just to help cooling so it cant end up in disaster.

its gonna be about 5 mm wide and 2mm deep so nothing really drastic. i will first anyway try it out with 51/18 gearing and see. got only 14sanyo cells right now so it should be ok

dremeled fins a bit and now can fit 16T pinion with ease.

on 14cells 51/18 and stock diffs the truck was insane. tires were balooning and hurling gravel on the track all around.

once i get mip cvds i will try 16 cells with 51/16 and 1/8diffs and see
