The transmission is still only bolted down with the stock holes, and now those holes are further back on the chassis. The trans is mounted on the thinnest, most flexible part of the chassis already, and I made that section even longer with the dremeling I had to do to fit the trans on backwards. Before the zipties, the trans could rotate backwards about 20 degrees just by pushing it with my hands. I think it would have resulted in massive wheel hop, if not a broken chassis. The zip ties made it even stiffer than stock, because it preloads the chassis somewhat. I plan on making a wheelie bar set up for it soon, when I do Ill just extend the skid plate section forward some to brace the chassis. That will allow me to get rid of the zipties.
what was the top speed on those runs? my rusty wants to go hide under a rock now because yours looks much cooler than my stock one with a mamba max 5700 in it
