are you going to use the mechanical brake? and a pistol transmitter or stick?

Do you want to use lipo or nimh? lipo keeps the weight relative low.

I would go Lipo too. It would be a nice conversion, but I think a costly one?

Well first off. I would get the car and see about the weight before I make a judgement
on motor size. As for tire size they are not much bigger than we run on a maxx
or revo ir not a smaller than some. The esc is going to cost you.
If you don't mind. What happened with you and lipo?

My first thought for a nice 1/4 scale setup:

Schulze 40.160 so you can go high voltage... a must for a car this big. It's huge enough to look proper in the car too. :)
Neu 1521/27 or even a Neu 2215 for more $$$
and a big 8s-10s lipo

:)

I beleive E-Maxx Rock's is giving up all current projects in order to race On-Road.

However, for an awesome setup in the Baja 5B, I would run a Lehner 2280 on something like 8S or 10S. This should give it plenty of power.

I thought you were selling your FLM pede and all - isn't that pretty much giving it up. IIRC all you have is your 18SS and Micro T left. ;)

lol I know what you mean. I know it can be hard. To have my G2R put out of commission by a blown motor system AND bent chassis is killing me...I'm dying to see that thing blaze down my street.
