You really don't need the Basic XL5300 for a touring car. A standard Basic 5300 will put you into the 40-45mph range with ease on 2S Lipo. Besides, I think the extra length of the Basic XL might be too much to fit in the TA05 chassis. I've run a Basic 5300 in my Tamiya EVO III in the past and it was quite a quick little car.
