Hi people,
I would just like to share my happy feeling with all my fellow forum members

. I have run my buggy with a Mamba Monster for about 15 minutes a couple of weeks ago but met with some mechanical problem. Last weekend was wasted by a wet track so I didn't dare run an electric vehicle.
This weekend was a blast. I tortured the Monster for nearly 1 hr running 2 batteries packs with small rests in between (picking up overturned buggy

). This was not a test but running together with my friend's RB C6 Xray & a host of Thunder Tiger S3s. I cleared big jumps & manhandled the buggy like I would for my nitro vehicles. No babying around.

cleared the new triple with ease
I'm happy to report after all that, the temperature at the heatsink of the Monster was 40 deg C, motor was 50 deg C & battery 35 deg C. Ambient was 30 deg C.
I did perform some modification to the esc though. As per advice from members of rctech & rc-monster, I removed the fan wiring from the esc & plugged it in directly to the receiver. In addition, I reinstated the UBEC into the system & that powers the fan as well. Also took out the +tive wire from the esc.

the small b/w wire coming out of the esc case are the new fan wire that's connected to the receiver now
Hopefully, I will run this setup week after week, month after month from now on. Special thanks to members of rc-monster, rctech & Castle Creations for your help & guidance.
Regards,
Joe Ling
PS : The battery is now the weak link. I had 1 pack puff a little during the run. These packs are 25C 6000mah packs from PQ !
