Wait a second... You went through the trouble of asking us for help and now your gonna continue doing it your own way? Which, may I remind you, already failed once...???
Take the tire by itself. Turn it inside-out. Wrap the duct tape around it twice keeping it as centered as possible and DO NOT OVERLAP. Press the sides of the tape down FIRMLY. Make the tire right-side out and assemble normally.
This method works. Flawlessly. Or, it has for me and my Rustler for quite some time now. I'm running an Align 600XL with a Sentilon HV ESC and 6s FP LiPos. The power goes directly to my taped Proline Speed Hawg tires. It's geared for 85 (eight-five) MpH. No blowouts since I taped them 6 months ago. Not even out of balance. If you're gonna ask for advice be prepared to take it.
