AARRRGGGHHH, postage due - 09.11.2008, 08:03 PM

Well Saturday I got my prereplacement MMMv2 to replace the one I have that initially had a fan control failure & later died (bec). Even through it took CC almost 3 weeks (& 3 calls)to get it to me, I packed up the bad one right away in the postage paid envelope CC provided & mailed it. I come home today to find it in my mail box marked "returned for postage 68 cents".

$30 bucks a gallon for nitro is not looking so bad to me anymore.

it cost me 7 dollars to ship mine back

but what really pisses me off is the fact that i had to send it back. its odd they offer some postage paid return envelopes and others pay out of pocket. some got replacements right away other have to wait. i think they need to figure something out and a better way to handle this.

I had 2 dead ones to send back and they told me they were going to send one out to me with a return envelope and I had to send the other one in myself??? And not to send them together. WTF???

Then after not getting it a few days later when they told me I would get it, I called and they told me they were out of stock and it would be a few weeks.

They are trying, but I dont think they have a system designed for this much return volume.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I have contacted them and someone was supposed to call or email me... That was on monday and I am still waiting. I will require that they send me a replacement and a mailer, as I paid to send the broken one in, and the replacement has crapped out, not paying twice. I personally think that they have a variety of outsourced components with poor quality control/mfg standards. That is the root of the failures. A possible design flaw may also be aggrivating the problems.

Yes, the CC problems are becoming quite costly. Thousands of dollars in postage, missed races, fried servos, fires, hours/days of waiting and a lot of aggravation.
