I'd keep the stock ESC since it is just a rebranded Mamba Monster.

If you want overkill I have an MGM 28025 Z Series for sale, PM me if your interested.

what you linked to is no better than what you have. as stated above a "savage flux" esc is just a rebadged Castle Creations Monster Mamba Max.

what do you want? higher cell count? more reliability?(that's a toss up, every company has failures and there are no hard facts about "most reliable") higher current capabilities?

for 6s operation you really can't beat what you've got.

I'm actually running 5s2p A123 at the moment.

Main thing I want is something more reliable and if possible smaller footprint.

More reliable? Have you already broken your esc?

The only reason you hear more about MMM failures is because there are more in the world. There are no hard facts or statistics about reliability, and I doubt the various manufacturers will ever divulge them.

I believe the tekin may have a slightly smaller footprint, but it's negligible. If a tiny bit of room matters, switch to the tekin. It's no more or less reliable.

Go lipo, that'll save a ton of room and weight.

You've got the best already

Good luck getting the Quark serviced if something goes bad too. They are nice controllers, but the old 125's were notorious for heat problems and failures too. Quark as of late has been very unresponsive in the service area.

The tekin is the only other controller I would consider, and like others have said, it is no more or less reliable than the MMM.

MGM's are solid, I liked mine. But the start up routine, firmware, and update software is nowhere near what the MMM and/or Tekin offer.
