How waterproof is the RX8? -
12.28.2009, 12:02 PM
I was just wondering if the electrics inside are coated like on the MMM
Would it be possible to seal it a bit with a waterproof glue or sealent around the case and heatsink and possible some bluetack on the sensor port and fan port?
Cheers

Our esc's are conformal coated and can be water resilliant but they're not water proof. I would be worries about heat. What are you doing with it?

Like I said, it's not waterproof. If you want to play in the wet I suggest making sure that no water get's on the speedo.

throw a little packet of silica gel in the esc case if you
must
run it through water...
its the stuff that comes with shoes, elc. etc. and has a big DO NOT EAT warning on it
