Got a free 12volt power supply

I was given this ac-dc converter (intelipower 9100, 1000watt/60amp/13.6 volt output) out of a rv. Is this a good one to use with my icharger 306b? Would it allow me to charge at the full 30 amps the charger is capable of? (6 5000mah packs). I ask because I've heard you really need 24 volts to charge at the full 30 amps. My current 600watt generic computer power supply starts emiting a funny smell when I try to charge at anything over 15 amps
