17mm wheel nuts

Hey guys,

I'm trying to find out if all the wheel nuts for 17mm hex hubs are the same. These are for the normal 17mm hubs on most 1/8th scale buggy/truggy, not the crappy ones on the savage...

I'm looking for some spares for my mugen, and I might start trying to convert my savage. So tired of those weird super wide flange nuts that keep the wheels on now. So I guess this would be M12?

I seem to remember a looooong time ago, someone was loaning someone else a nut, but it didn't fit right.

Googled for awhile but I was having a hard time wording it correctly. If they are different, is there a list of compatibility somewhere?
