Like most new high-tech innovation it will be years before we see it at the mainstream consumer level.

I agree.

It just sounds like it's still very early in the developement/proving stages.

I'm sure we'll see laptop & cellphone batteries long before something RC compatible.......or maybe we'll be strapping HP Laptop batteries on our monster trucks??? LOL!

The bad press Lipo/ion is getting lately in the consumer market, could be the boost they need
