teknos electri clutch

I have an erevo with an emaxx tranny but I really want to go to the revo tranny. The tekno conversion looks nice, because it comes with everything I would need(well beside the tranny) but I dont really know if I like the idea of a clutch on an electric. Thats one of the reasons I like electric so much is the pop is always there, and you have instant wheelies. My question is do you have to run the electri clutch or can you still use mod 1 pinions with the tekno kit.

also If anyone wants to trade a revo tranny for an emaxx tranny with steel idlers and a RR slipper PLEASE pm me. I also have a steel axle to go along with it.
