would the lehner 1950 or 2230 better suit the lsp for racing and all out insane power? 6s lipo and oemrc esc will be my setup.

The 1950 should be plenty- the 22 series are designed for 1:5 vehicles; they would destroy the driveline of a 1:10-1:8 in a second probably!

its settled then! 2230 it is! the 2230 is lighter, cheaper, and puts out 3000w at 60a whereas the 1950 puts out 3000w at 100a.

It doesn't really work like that. Watts = Amps x Voltage. So 3000w and 60 amps would need 50v. 3000w and 100 amps would need 30v.

What? I'm not saying the 1950 is better, I don't really know much about either of them. The 60a and 100a thing doesn't say which is better. If they are both rated at 3000w then that means they can both put out the same amount of maximum power. I'd be surprised if you could pull 3000w burst in a truggy off-road. Even if your batteries have enough power, you'd probably brake traction or flip over backwards before you get 3000w.
Do you understand what I said in my first post?

You would have to make a custom motor mount for the 2230 because the screw pattern is not standard, so I'd say the 1950 is your best bet.

No, I don't think you get what he's saying. He didn't say one was better than the other.

I personally would get the 2230. It will draw less amps, which with the airplane esc is vital.

the oemrc esc is rated at 100a, and i finally re-re-re-reread patrick's comment and i think i finally got it! id personally rather go with the 2230 as well because 1. it draws less amps 2. its a mild motor for a 1/5 scale, and if i ever build my brushless 6x6 mgt, that motor would be well suited for the application.

It doesn't matter if the motor is rated at 60 amps or 100. It will pull less amps, but the thing to be concerned with is the burst the ESC can handle. Just because an ESC is rated at 100 amps and the motor at 100 doesn't mean it will be ok. The burst on that ESC is something like 120. The measly MM can handle 200 amps burst. Airplanes don't have burst that high, but cars do...
