I went out and bought a servo today. It was a JR DS8711. It has over 400 oz of torque at 6 volts and 347 at 4.8

Now if I can just get my wiring figured out...

I have a 5997 hitec in my tmaxx and it works well, but is noisy. My other revo has a hitec 645mg and that works fine as well, and is much cheaper too. I also have the jr 8000 series, 400 oz/in, for my savage build. I have been impressed with the jr servos so far, we will see how this does.

like to know what you mean by 6.5v on the ccbec have one but never read that.
thanks for help

I adjusted the voltage via the castle link cable. You can go up to 9.6v if I remember correctly (not a good idea for servos, maybe a fan?). A little more voltage makes a big difference.
