30/43 gearing HOLY HELL thats tall, Im running 26/43 on my eight and im geting 103-104 MPH consitantly on the radar gun. What are you geting with 30/43??

i believe RC car just did a losi speed project in the latest issue using the castle conversion. i think they were geared 45/23.

(*they were also using maxamps packs, a 2650 and an mmm)


they only got to 82mph because of downforce issues. the driver said he could have gotten to 90mph with little effort, but he didn't wanna catch air at over 80mph and crash so he backed off.


it was a cool article though.

Hmm, sounds like an excuse for pack limitation...
